Book Tour, 1st Stop -- Big Sandy Community & Technical College in Prestonsburg, KY!

The reading was fun and rewarding, with good audience participation on the part of students, teachers, family and friends. There were comments about the warm and friendly feeling in the room and the poetry that resonates for different ones of us. Mary Wallen and Judith Valade, English Department, did a superb job of setting up an inviting room with flowers, refreshments, and books for sale by the college bookstore staff. Many thanks to all participants for personalizing a celebration of National Poetry Month and upcoming Earth Day!
